Precautions for AP Network Connection

Please review the following precautions before connecting your camera via AP network to ensure a successful setup.

📌 Important Notes

1. AP Hotspot Connection:

The app will automatically connect to the camera's AP hotspot. If the automatic connection fails, please connect to the hotspot manually in your phone's Wi-Fi settings.

2. Location Permission:

Ensure Precise Location is enabled.
Path: Settings > Botslab > Location > Allow > Turn on Precise Location

3. Hotspot Not Found?

If you cannot see the Botslab hotspot, try restarting the camera or searching with another mobile device.

How to submit feedback?

If you encounter any issues with your device or the App, you can submit a feedback report directly through the Botslab App. We offer two ways to reach our technical team:

Method 1: General Feedback

Best for general suggestions or App-related issues.

  • Upload screenshots of the issue
  • Attach relevant videos
  • Provide time of occurrence
  • Leave your contact information

Method 2: Device Settings

Best for hardware or connection troubleshooting.

Submit via Device Settings to include App and Firmware logs, which helps our engineers pinpoint the cause faster.

Steps to Submit via Device Settings

1️⃣ Tap "Settings" on the device card.
2️⃣ Scroll down and select "Feedback".
3️⃣ Describe the problem, upload images, and check "Log reporting".
4️⃣ Enter your email and tap "Submit immediately".

Tip: Reporting logs (Method 2) is highly recommended for connection or recording issues, as it provides the technical data needed for an accurate fix.

How to view and copy the Device ID?

Your Device ID is a unique identifier required for technical support and troubleshooting. You can find it by following these simple steps:

1 Go to the Home page and tap "Settings" on your device card.
2 Tap on the Device Name/Icon at the top to enter "Device Information".
3 Locate the Device ID and tap the Copy icon next to it.
